Last year we watched as stakes were planted in a large plot of sand on the Intracoastal Waterway near our condo. We watched as a beautiful dock was constructed and a huge new building began to take shape. And over the summer I kept track of the progress via web cams and websites while we were up North.
Our new “neighbor” is now a reality. Bokampers Sports Bar and Grill-Fort Lauderdale location is a dream come true for sports lovers…and boaters too.

Parking in the area is somewhat limited for those arriving by car, but valet parking is available for $5. We simply walk across the bridge and walk into the open air bar facing the Intracoastal. It’s our favorite spot in the building…but not just because of the view.
Let’s just say there are MANY choices of bars and restaurants within walking distance of our home, and we already have our favorites. Some have great food, some have great drink prices, and some have beautiful views. Bokampers has some serious competition in the neighborhood. But the one reason we stop in at Bokampers is…bartender JILL.

Her smile is genuine, and her work ethic is amazing. She can single-handedly manage the huge bar, and still take time to make every guest feel special…and welcome! (A very important step in capturing market share for a new establishment.) Jill even sent me an email to thank us for stopping in the first time we met her. Now THAT is Customer Service!
