WE LOST. We’re over it ALREADY.We’re looking on the BRIGHT side of this trip, as we try to do with ALL of our travels.
- We’ve had a GREAT time meeting awesome people. Hawk fans…LSU Fans, and Tampa “Locals”.
- The food has been delicious…even the hot dog at the game!
- Our accommodations at the Howard Johnson hotel were more than adequate. (Great towels, friendly staff and a clean, quiet room. We would absolutely stay here again if we’re back in this area.)
- We’ve had SAFE travel on some really treacherous roads (Our hearts go out to the family of the couple from Wilton who lost their lives in an accident on I-75 driving from Iowa to the bowl game…)
- The Hawkeyes were tough competitors who represented Iowa in a positive way with their effort, their sportsmanship and, of course, their “never give up” attitude. We are proud to wear our black and gold…Win or Lose.

It’s GREAT to be a HAWKEYE.
