It’s hard to believe we’re already home from our adventures in New England, but my friend Dorothy and I had a GREAT time!
The Gazebo on the Commons-Sturbridge |
Dorothy invited me to accompany her to the WOLCOTT SOCIETY FAMILY REUNION at the 235 year old Publik House Inn and Lodge in Sturbridge MA.

(FYI…One of Dorothy’s Wolcott ancestors signed the Declaration of Independence!) So it was a pleasure and an honor to meet some of those decendents and to explore Sturbridge and the surrounding area on this whirlwind trip. We met WONDERFUL people, and we ate some awesome meals. We even stumbled upon a free concert on the “Commons” across the street from the Inn…the same Commons where the Civil War soldiers practiced their marching.
