All good things must eventually come to an end. And so it was with GrandCamp 2018. Once again it was a treasured time filled with lots of Family, Food and FUN.
From backyard baseball games with cousins galore…
To “official” games where the cousin’s cheering section was loud and proud…
To ballpark foods like this BIG dill pickle…
And always a hot dog or two…
And even egg rolls brought in from the Saturday morning Farmers Market!
To revisiting my childhood farm…
To our never ending treasured kitchen adventures like my “world famous”
Meemaw’s Meatballs (ala Lolo this time!)
To California Rolls…
To our lazy Sunday morning Biscuits and Gravy…
And even a Banana Split or two!
To coffee drinks on the campus just like those college kids…
To a sewing project done by this “not great at sewing” Meemaw.
To hot tub secrets shared by cousins…
To the all too brief time spent with ALL the grandkids together…
To a seemingly neverending game of Monopoly…
To one final dip in the pool..complete with a spirited game of TAG (and wrinkled digits for Meemaw and Peepaw!)
To a twelve story high sunset…
And some final candlelit porch time secrets shared…
GrandCamp 2018 is in the books.
And it was awesome.
Memories they will have forever!
