And I was happy when I noticed the NO SMOKING ON PATIO sign!
It was a beautiful evening, and we enjoyed sitting outside together…without the smell of smoke to ruin our meal…
And Big Bro is a “Mac & Cheese” kid. (He finished every bite.) Our son Aaron said his Smoked Meatloaf was another great choice.
It was a great place for an early dinner…
And later that week Fred and I headed back by ourselves for some “bar food” and adult beverages!
Our bartender, David, was friendly and was quick to share information about the restaurant, and he suggested we try their famous onion rings.
They were HUGE.
I am not a great fan of thick onion rings. And these were good…but not great. The onions were still slightly crunchy and the batter was quite thick. But not bad.
And. like most places these days, Craft Beers were on tap. But I was happy to see good old Miller Lite as well…
They were smokey and cooked perfectly. And because of the delicious dry rub flavoring there was no reason to add sauce!
So I guess the moral of the story is…
When you go to a BBQ place…ORDER BBQ!!!
We were NOT disappointed in any of the smokey entrees!
