Some of Fred’s projects are more fun than others. And his latest one certainly held special meaning since it was for our friends, Cindy and Marty.
After Cindy’s Mom passed away, Cindy and Marty inherited her mother’s old stereo console from the 1970’s. (Apparently Cindy’s Mom had used some of her inheritance money from HER father’s estate to purchase the stereo…so the family history of the piece actually goes back another generation.) It’s been collecting dust in their store room for several years. Until now.
Nobody in the family wanted to simply throw the piece away since it held such sentimental value….but nobody wanted an old stereo console. So Cindy had the idea to have it converted into a bar for their son Max…soon to be married.
That’s where my handyman hubby entered the picture.
Fred brought the piece to our house and began to design something that Max and his fiance Molly could enjoy for years to come…
