You know you’re in the best diner in town when all heads turn toward the door every time it opens. And Walt’s Restaurant turned out to be a great choice for breakfast in Caseville, Michigan.
The place was hopping at eight o’clock, and the Mishler siblings met there for breakfast before we went our separate ways following the festivities at Cousin Charlene’s house the day before.
Our waitress Linda was handling ALL the customers by herself, and she wasted no time taking our orders. And I’m really glad I took her recommendations for MY breakfast.
Linda kept our coffee cups full…and everyone else’s too! |
Robert and Patricia chose blueberry pancakes,
“Uncle Robert” and his cakes! |
Patricia’s Plate |
AWESOME Corned Beef Hash… |
…And DELICIOUS Home Made Bread!

Fred stuck with the old classic ham and eggs, and Grant and I chose corned beef hash. NONE of us were disappointed! And Linda’s suggestion of corned beef hash served with their home made bread was AWESOME! I can’t believe there are still restaurants that take
the time to make their own bread!
What a GREAT breakfast! Foods I love, eaten with PEOPLE I love…A wonderful start to our day at the top of the Michigan’s “thumb”!
