Sometimes a little Cafe is exactly the right spot to go for lunch, and the Cafe At Stone Mill was just an elevator ride down from our room at The Inn At Stone Mill.
The cozy combination cafe/gift shop is located on the first floor of the historic Stone Mill building, built in 1839. (It originally housed a woolen textile mill.)
It was raining and chilly on that Tuesday afternoon in Little Falls, so a bowl of soup sounded like the perfect lunch. And boy, did we pick the right spot for that meal!
The eatery is found on the first floor of staffed with folks we seemed truly glad to serve us. And who wouldn’t love being greeted by the mile wide smile of manager Katie!

An Ever-Changing Cafe Menu
The cozy cafe and coffee house serves up an ever changing menu of delicious items for breakfast and lunch each day. And on that chilly rainy Tuesday I was happy to see a Roasted Garlic Tomato Basil Soup on the menu board. (It tasted as good as it sounded!)
Peepaw and I couldn’t pass up the Chicken Flautas on that menu board as well.
In fact, just reading the flauta description made my mouth begin to water.
Chicken, roasted red peppers, corn, Mexican cheese blend and cream cheese grilled in a soft burrito. Topped with a smoky chipotle aioli and jalapeno jelly. Yum-Oh!!!
Totally out of this world delicious. And the perfect entree to share for lunch.
Indeed, The Cafe At Stone Mill was the perfect choice on that rainy day in Little Falls.
