It’s great to be HOME…(Our TROPICAL one…)
Yes…we miss our family…and our special friends…LOTS.
But we do look forward to seeing our EXTENDED family in Fort Lauderdale. It doesn’t take long to slip back into “island time”…when we can put off til tomorrow…just about anything!

And let me apologize in advance for my next comments, especially if you are part of the 80% of America who are literally BELOW ZERO as I write this…I was recently lying by the pool, (Yes…Outside…By the POOL…)
and I was pondering how Mother Nature works. Just like many Snow Birds can sense when “Happy Hour” has arrived…we have a flock of little green wild parrots who absolutely know when five o’clock occurs. Every day, about an hour before sunset (and again an hour before sunrise) this flock of parrots swoops over our condo. You can hear them squawking long before you can see them. They make a huge racket! The main group sticks together and they perch in the huge palm trees across the water. But there is a small group (I call them “the renegades)” who always arrive (and leave) first, and they never sit in the palm trees with the rest of the flock. They definitely march to their own drummer.
Interesting.
I guess they are kind of like people. We’ve got leaders…and followers.
I know which group I’m in…
