While rummaging around in Nick’s freezer in Indiana, I saw a small package of London Broil steak…and since I was already grilling a Drunken Chicken for dinner I decided to fix that small steak at the same time.
I threw the steak in a zip lock bag and I mixed up a marinade to put over it.
My LONDON BROIL STEAK MARINADE
Combine all ingredients in a blender:
1 C. white wine
4 garlic cloves
1/2 of a medium onion
3 T EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
1 tsp fresh black pepper
1 tsp kosher salt
Blend all ingredients and pour over steak in the bag. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
When ready to grill, discard the marinade and DRY THE STEAK COMPLETELY. (If you don’t dry the meat it will simply steam on the grill.)
Grill until medium rare and slice thinly AGAINST THE GRAIN.
Not bad…Definitely not bad…
