While spending some time with our family in Cedar Rapids, we decided to go to a pizzaria that we’d never tried before…and we were glad we did!
Roscoe’s Pizza is a unique pizza. The cheese goes all the way to the edge of the pan, and it forms a carmelized crust that is absolutely delicious. And the sauce is applied on top of the cheese. (According to our N.Y. pals, this is the way REAL pizza is made in Brooklyn…and we don’t argue with “those guys”…!)
We called ahead to order so our four grandkids wouldn’t have to wait so long to be fed once we arrived, and the restaurant even put a RESERVED sign on a table for us. Really cool…especially with four little ones in tow.

It’s a little pricey…but it’s worth it. So if you find yourself in Cedar Rapids Iowa…plug Roscoe’s Pizza into your GPS. I think you’ll like it!
