As we prepare for our amazing trip to the ROSE BOWL…I took a trip down Memory Lane.
The last time our family made the trip to Pasadena…It was THIRTY YEARS ago.
That year…A Rose Bowl ticket cost $35. (The cost this year? Don’t ask!)
That year…Erma Bombeck was the Grand Marshall of the Rose Parade. And the Iowa float had to be removed from the parade route because of a bomb threat! (Yes…That really happened…thirty years ago…)
Our Mishler boys then…
And our family now…
But the one thing that hasn’t changed in thirty years? The FAMILY MEMORIES waiting to be made on THIS trip.
So…Here we go…First…a flight from Indy to VEGAS. Then a Mishler family ROAD TRIP…on to Pasadena.
So come along for our Rose Bowl Ride…and GO HAWKS!
