Sunday night is PIZZA NIGHT for the Mishler family…wherever we are. And on our last trip to Carmel, Indiana, our son Nick suggested we try a place they had been meaning to try.
Tony Sacco’s Coal Fired Pizza…
And let’s just say I think we’ve found our new favorite pizza in Carmel.
It’s a family-friendly spot, and the kids were quickly given crayons and a great “worksheet” with lots to keep them occupied.
And imagine how thrilled we were to learn that their signature salad is HALF PRICE on SUNDAY! It’s served “family style” which worked great for our bunch, since all three granddaughters love salad as much as the adults.
Our attentive young waiter suggested we try their garlic rolls…and it was a GREAT suggestion. They were delicious.
And the pizza was AWESOME! The crust was thin and crispy…just like we like it. And the hint of flavor from the open fire in the oven gave it a unique (and delicious) taste.
It’s a great place with great food…so check out their website. And if you find yourself in the mood for pizza and you’re in one of their locations…TRY IT. No matter WHAT day of the week is “pizza day” for you!
